On Wednesday the 17th of February we held our first Independent Hotel Academy of 2016, which follows on from the success of our academy in Koh Samui last December. The venue, this time, was closer to home in the bustling Sukhumvit district of Bangkok. Frontdesk Anywhere, in collaboration with Louis T Collection, hosted independent hoteliers and multi-property hotel groups in an educational session on hotel cloud technology, the guest experience and changing trends in Chinese outbound tourism. Dozens of hotel managers, owners and consultants from across Bangkok attended the educational and networking. Thank you to everyone who attended the seminar and made the evening a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.

[Wrap-Up] The Independent Hotel Academy - San Francisco session

Last Tuesday, we hosted our first Independent Hotel Academy session in San Francisco, in our headquarters.

We gathered hotel industry and technology experts: Christina Norair fron RevinateDan Yacker from Duetto and Nadim El Manawy from Frontdesk Anywhere

New technology available for independent hotels to compete with larger chains, best practices for room pricing and guest engagement were some of the topics discussed during the educational event.

[Wrap-Up] The Independent Hotel Academy - Florida sessions

In August, we held the first sessions of our Independent Hotel Academy with three best of breed partners: Revinate, Duetto & TripTease.

It was an exciting opportunity to learn both from experts in online reputation, revenue management, channel and online distribution, and general hotel management, but also from independent hoteliers’ unique experiences and visions.
We’d like to thank all the participants who made the events a success, and convinced us we should host more educational seminars in the States and beyond.

The Fall 2011 Frontdesk Anywhere Northeast Road Tour

I am really excited. There has been so much happening recently: new customers, new alliances and presenting our first ever academic scholarship. It is hard to believe there is time to hit the road and meet some of our very interesting customers. Next week I am embarking on a road tour to meet personally our customers located in New England and the northeast. It is going to be great to meet some of the people behind the stories I hear on a daily basis.
