Customize Your Room, Guest, and House Keeping Statuses Easily
Display colors let you retrieve information about the status of rooms by directly looking at your Tape Chart. Your Frontdesk Anywhere account comes with a certain number of default colors and tags, but here is how you can customize them.
How It Works:
In the Admin Setting Tab, under General, click on DISPLAY COLORS. Under the column ‘Front Desk Room Status’ is a list of the colors and tags that sanction the status of a reservation. Under the column ‘Housekeeping Room Status’ is a list of the colors and tags that determine the status of a room. At the center of the page, under column Front Desk User Defined Colors is a list of the tags and colors that are accessible from each reservation folio, and that determine the status of guests on levels different from that of reservation/rooms, such as payment status.
To amend the colors of the tags, click on the box with the color codes, choose the color you wish to use, and save it by clicking on the colorful disk. To add a Front Desk User Defined Colors, click on the green button ADD at the center of the page, next to the label ‘Front Desk User Defined Colors’. A new row will appear: fill in the name and choose the color and the order in which you wish the new tag to appear.
To add a Housekeeping tag, click on the green button ADD at the bottom of the page, on the left-hand side of ‘Housekeeping User Defined Colors. Fill in the relevant information and save your changes.
