Hello again!

I promised you on the last blog post that I was going to give you some bit of information about the way the hotel industry works in Cuba. It took me a while to get around the idea of how business is handled, and most of this has to do with the fact that I grew up in western Europe, and for this reason, we tend to take for granted our business model.

There has recently been a growing interest in the island after the re-establishment of its diplomatic relationships with the United States: as this might relax the economical embargo on the island, it is possible to think that Cuba will undergo substantial changes in the upcoming future. So, what better timing than this to explore its great history and extensive culture?

See the World - Overcoming Fears in Bali

 I had several goals for my Bali trip that you can group into a category called ‘overcoming fears’.

I wasn’t trying to categorize my goals. I just thought these were activities I wanted to do but looking back it seems obvious that these were all fears I wanted to overcome. So I had three goals and they were: get scuba diving certified, travel by myself and jump off of a waterfall.
